Images

Images are an important multimedia file that users and society use daily for anything as they are great ways to tell a story. “Images were the story” (Huff, 1998, p. 582) as it is described as images tell a narration or story that explains and described better than text as show what is going as a visual narration. Images can be used to help animals that are in danger that can soon be extinct as viewers can look at these images to admire the beautiful have shock and empathy for these animals and encourage people to help these threatened species.

Nelson (Nelson, 2017) shows that has been killed and then have it’s horn violently taken out and some cases left alive when horns being taken out as the rhino is suffering in immense pain as their horns will be used for either Chinese medicine or a luxury item to show high status. This single image can convey lots of emotion just by looking at it and tell the whole story just from this single photograph.

This illustration depicts the future of polar bears (Rosenberg, 2018). This illustration shows climate change or global warming destroying the polar bears home in Antarctica be melted gone and have barely any ice left for the polar bears to live on and soon the number will decline until the polar bears are extinct. This illustration can empathy with the audience as not only polar bears but the artic as well and a grim reminder that his could be their future if nothing changes.

A cartoon comic that depicts that threatened species are not a priority (Judge, 2016)

This comic shows, people like the government don’t care about threatened species like polar bears as care more about the industry than the environment (Judge, 2016). This comic interprets how machinery from industries will lead to threatening species death like the polar bears as the giraffe looks on as know they can be next. The purpose is to show a short visual story so the readers can understand the story in a creative way and soon can show what can happen soon if nothing changes or if nothing is done.
